Presenting the Peace Prize Committee!



The Secretariat for the Student Peace Prize is pleased to present the Peace Prize Committee for the Student Peace Prize.


In August, the committee will decide who will be the next laureate of the Student Peace Prize based on the report the Nomination Committee has been working on for the past six months.


The members representing the students of Norway consists of:

Selma Bratberg is the leader of SAIH (The Norwegian Students' and Academics' International Assistance Fund)and the leader of the Peace Prize Committee.


Kaja Ingdal Hovdenak, Kaja is the next leader of The National Union of Students in Norway, the largest student organization in Norway.


Dalin Malek is a law student at the University of Oslo.


Sofie Karlgård is a law student at University of Oslo and has previously studied international studies.


Nora Rymoen Houidi is responsible for international relations in The National Students Union in Norway.


Karoline Hjelmtvedt Hermansen



The expert committee members consists of:

Erik Fosse is a Norwegian musician, doctor and professor of medicine at the University of Oslo. He is the leader of NORWAC, Norwegian Aid Committee, a humanitarian organization.


Lisa Sivertsen is director in NORAD for Human Development.


Torunn Tryggestad is the deputy director of PRIO, the Peace Research Institute Oslo.


Linn Stalsberg is a Norwegian writer and author and has written books on peace including Krig er forakt for liv - et essay om fred from 2024.
