Vi inviterer hele Trondheim til å møtes og gå sammen for fred!

Walk for Peace i Trondheim er en mulighet for å samles og gå sammen i solidaritet for fred. ISFiT og Studentenes Fredspris har tradisjon for å gå sammen i Walk of Peace i solidaritet med vinnerne av Studentenes Fredspris før pris.

Nå har vi, sammen med Sit og Velferdstinget i Gjørvik, Ålesund og Trondheim blitt inspirert av Walk for Peace, hvor en gruppe munker i Amerika går for å fremme fred, medmenneskelighet og ikkevold. 

Vi møtes på Trondheim Torvet kl 17.30 for velkomsttale og kunstnerisk innslag før toget starter klokken 18.00. Vi ønsker at marsjen skal oppleves som et åpent og inkluderende fellesskap for alle. Derfor ber vi om at det ikke taes med paroler og faner, slik at fokuset blir på vårt felles budskap om samhold, solidaritet og fred.

Etter toget åpnes dørene på kafeen Edgard på Studentersamfundet hvor det vil serveres A Peace of Cake.
Her vil det være mulighet til å samles, mingle og fortsette samholdet vi skaper i toget.

Join us as we gather the city of Trhondheim to a walk together for peace.

Walk for Peace in Trondheim is an opportunity for people to gather and walk together in solidarity for peace. ISFiT and the Student Peace Prize have a long tradition of walking together in the Walk of Peace in solidarity with the laureates of the Student Peace Prize ahead of the award ceremony.

Now, together with Sit and the Velferdstinget in Gjøvik, Ålesund, and Trondheim, we have been inspired by Walk for Peace initiatives worldwide, including a group of monks in the United States who walk to promote peace, compassion, and nonviolence.

We will gather at Trondheim Torvet at 17.30 for a welcome speech and artistic performances, before the march begins at 18.00. We want the march to feel like an open, inclusive community for everyone. Therefore, we kindly ask participants not to bring banners or flags, so that the focus remains on our shared message of unity, solidarity, and peace.

After the march, the doors at Café at Studentersamfundet will open, and A Peace of Cake will be served. Here, there will be an opportunity to gather, mingle, and continue the sense of community we created during the march.
